Brev til Paul McCartney(Engelsk) 

Idag har vi lavet en invitation til den engelske komponist, sanger og musiker, der i 1960'erne blev verdenskendt som medlem af gruppen The Beatles, Paul McCartney. 
Det er en invitation fra vores plejehjem Sølund. Det skal lige siges den er skrevet på engelsk. 


Dear Sir Paul McCartney,
I am writing to you from Sunshine Nursing Home in Copenhagen to ask if you would like to come to Denmark this December to perform for us. We cannot offer you a lot of money, but of course, we will pay for your flights, accommodation, food etc. We have heard you are a big fan of Tivoli. If you like, we would be more than happy to organize a private tour of the gardens (and even a free pass to the rides if it pleases you).
Our nursing home is a very old and well established one. We have more than 80 people living here on the grounds, and your music is by far the most popular to have on in our common room.

Dear Miss Hansen,
Thank you very much for your letter. I am honored by your invitation. It is wonderful to hear that I have such a large fan base over there in Denmark! It is not too often I get asked to perform these days. I would therefore be delighted to come to Denmark and play at your nursing home.
Please let me know as soon as possible what dates you would like me to be there so I can put them into my calendar and start booking flights.
